The Department encourages students to take part in academic programs abroad recognized by Princeton University. Opportunities for study in Russia, the Czech Republic, and Poland are made available through the Princeton Study Abroad Program.
Established in 2004, the Princeton in St. Petersburg Program offers Princeton undergraduates a unique chance to improve their knowledge of Russian language and culture during a two-month summer course in St. Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia. The Program is organized by the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures with financial support from the Program in Russian and Eurasian Studies and the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS). The Program is designed for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who have successfully completed RUS 101-102.
