Igor Vishnevetsky is a notable Russian poet and writer. His novel "Leningrad" dedicated to the Siege of Leningrad during WWII won the prestigious 2011 NOS literary award. At Princeton, he will talk about historical background of his fiction and the transformation of a literary narrative into a feature film. He will also discuss a connection between archival research and art in his own work.
