Adam Michnik The Glory and Poverty of the ’68 Generation
Adam Michnik is editor-in-chief of the Polish daily newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza. A former dissident, he was a major actor in the political changes of the last quarter of the 20th century. Historian by education, he published several books which were translated into many languages. He is a recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award, the Imre Nagy Award, and the Goethe Prize, among many other honors. He also lectured at Princeton.
