Description/Objectives:
This course examines major works of both the Russian and American periods of Nabokov's writing career. Knowledge of Russian is not required.

Reading/Writing Assignments: Approximately 200 pages of reading per week; mid-term examination; short paper (3 to 5 pages); final paper (8 to 10 pages).

Requirements/Grading:
Midterm Exam: 20%
Papers: 20%
Oral Presentation(s): 15%
Term Paper: 25%
Precept Participation: 20%

Other Information: No knowledge of Russian required. This course will be offered in Fall, 2006
